How do I setup my Outlook Express Email?


  • Open "Outlook Express".
  • Click on "Tools" from the menu bar.
  • Click on "Accounts".
  • Click on the "Mail" tab if needed.
  • Click the "Add button" and choose Mail, this will start a wizard that will step you through setting up your Email account.
  • Enter your Real name or Nickname in the Display name box, this is name that will be shown when sending Email messages to other people.
  • Click the "Next" button.
  • Check the "I already have an Email address..." radio button.
  • Enter your e-mail address(for example username@nwtec.com).
  • Click the "Next" button.
  • Select "POP3" as your incoming mail server type.
  • Enter "pop.nwtec.com" in the Incoming mail server field.
  • Enter "smtp.nwtec.com" in the Outgoing mail server field.
  • Click the "Next" button.
  • Enter your "Email account name" in the Account name box (this is your Email address without "@nwtec.com" portion).
  • Enter your "Email account password" in the Password box.
  • Check the "Remember password" box.
  • Click the "Next" button.
  • Click the "Finish" button.
  • Click the "Close" button.
